As mentioned previously, I'm participating in the November Poetic Asides (NovPAD) Chapbook Challenge, sparked by Robert Lee Brewer.
Right now, I am at 19 poem drafts for the month. I've skipped some days, but made up for it on others. Mostly, I'm working on a specific project I've had in mind for a few months, but a couple of non-project-specific poems have popped in unexpectedly.
I love when that happens.
I'm looking forward to coming back to these drafts in January, to see what I've got. As with all of my poem-a-day challenges, I take the following month "off" to let my mind re-set.
And, of course, December will give me plenty of non-poetry distractions...
