This morning, Frida "helped" me plant cilantro, rosemary, sage, lemon thyme and tarragon. Oh the smells! I could eat herbs by the handfull... can't wait to start harvesting them.
I've been perusing Armitage's Garden Perennials: A Color Encyclopedia, checking out plants I may want to get for our yard. Of course, that inspired today's NaPoWriMo poem: Questions for Flowers. Not one of my best, but fun nonetheless.
Hooray for warmer weather! There's a beautiful new book out about "Gardens," by Robert Pogue Harrison. More philosophical than Good Housekeeping-esque. This reminds me to steal the review copy from the Scholar office. ; )

I want to read the Square Foot Gardener. We've got seeds and plan to show O where her food comes from.
Thanks for the additional reading suggestions! With the cold nights we've been having, I'm glad I didn't rush getting the tomatoes and peppers in yet.
